Per kilogram, in Sri Lankan rupees, for the India–Sri Lanka lane. Other routes are priced from the same table with a route adjustment. Clearance, handling and door delivery are added once per shipment, not per kilo.

What is added on top
Clearance and handling — one charge per shipment covering export paperwork in India, import clearance in Colombo and our warehouse handling. LKR 1,500 on air, LKR 2,500 on sea.
Government duty and taxes — assessed by Sri Lanka Customs on your specific goods. Charged at cost with the official receipt shown to you. Most personal shipments under the de-minimis threshold attract none.
Door delivery — included. There is no extra charge when it reaches your address.
What changes the price
Volumetric weight. Air freight charges on actual weight or the space the box takes up, whichever is greater. A duvet weighs little and costs plenty. We measure and tell you which one applied.
Consolidation. Five parcels sent as one shipment pay the handling charge once. On sea freight this is usually the difference between sensible and expensive.
Sea minimum. Sea cargo starts at 25 kg. Below that the minimum applies and air is almost always cheaper anyway.
