Not for ordinary goods. It helps for anything unusual, fragile, very large or restricted — a quick message before you buy can save you a return. If you are unsure whether something can be shipped, ask first.

Yes. Most customers order themselves and send it to our warehouse in that country, which works out cheaper. But many sites will not take a foreign card or deliver abroad at all — 1688 and Taobao among them. Send us the link, we quote it, and once you approve we buy it and add the cost to your invoice at what we paid, with the receipt.

Air cargo starts at 0.5 kg. Sea cargo starts at 25 kg — below that the minimum applies, and air is usually cheaper anyway for a small parcel.

On the weight and dimensions we record at our warehouse, at the rate for that category of goods. We photograph the scale reading. The calculator on this site is an estimate to help you plan — the real figure comes after weighing, and we always send it before anything ships.

Because handling, clearance and risk are genuinely different. A carton of books moves differently through customs than cosmetics or spare parts. Pricing by category is more honest than one headline rate that gets adjusted later.

Air freight charges on actual weight or on the space the box occupies, whichever is greater. A large light box — a duvet, a lampshade — costs more than its weight suggests. We measure it and tell you which figure applied and why.

No, and nobody can include it honestly, because it is assessed by Sri Lanka Customs on your specific goods. Our clearance and handling charge is included in your quote. Any government duty is charged at cost and we show you the official receipt.

After you approve the quote. Bank transfer or cash on delivery depending on what suits you. There is no online payment on this site and we never ask for card details over chat.

Four to seven days door to door from the day your cargo is checked into our warehouse and approved. Customs can add a day. If it is going to be longer, you hear it from us rather than finding out.

Between three and five weeks door to door, depending on sailing schedules and port clearance. It is the right choice when weight matters more than speed. We give you the expected date once your shipment is booked and update you if it moves.

Everywhere in the destination country — every district, cities and villages alike. Door delivery is included in the rate you were quoted. There is no extra charge at your door.

Yes, and you should. Ship to us as often as you like, we hold everything for up to 30 days free, and it all goes out as one shipment with one handling charge. On sea freight this is usually the difference between sensible and expensive.

You will know before it leaves India, because we photograph everything on arrival at our warehouse. If a seller shorted you, you can raise it with them while the goods are still in India. If something is damaged in our care, we tell you and we sort it out.

Anything prohibited by Indian export or Sri Lankan import law — hazardous and flammable goods, currency, restricted substances, counterfeit items. If you are unsure about something specific, send us a photo and a link before you order.

With valid prescriptions or the right documentation, yes. Regulations are strict and vary by product, so always check with us before buying rather than after.

Phones, laptops and devices with batteries fitted move by air under standard dangerous-goods handling. Loose or spare lithium batteries are restricted. Tell us what is in the box and we will route it correctly.
